This year has been a very busy year for us. Its the 30th annoiversary of Steve Biko's death so it hold special meaning for us.
So far we have
- Hosted a Rape Awareness Event focusing on Men’s Behaviour (1 May 2007)
- Formed a partnership with Makana SAPS through Police Forum, involves visiting schools in outer lying areas to talk about drug abuse
- Are trying to organise a Biko Commemoration Speech Competition to be hosted in conjunction with African Languages Department, week of 16 September 2007.
In addition to this we've been running around doing schools visits as usual.
We'll be out on the streets of Fingo again to host an outdoor event on the week of the 11-17th of September.
